A RADICAL WAY OF THINKING

Project M brings diverse creative minds together to tackle hard problems through radical thinking. This opportunity to help the community of Greensboro, Alabama came in the summer of 2013 with Project M. It brings together committed designers inspired to contribute to the greater good and seek project platforms.

One thing missing in this local community was traditional work skills for youth.  The team worked with Hale Empowerment and Revitalization Organization to create marketing Catfish Bikes. The bikes would be built by area youth.

LEARNING THROUGH MAKING

HPH better known as Hot Potato Hack is a game born out of Project M in Greensboro, Alabama. Designers focused on a potato to inspire new thinking. Players work together under specific time constraints, cycling through numerous scenarios to unlock ingenuity. After hacking potatoes with everyday objects, players developed a story around the potato. HPH can be used as creative blocks and bridge ingenuity gaps in any situation. Good Magazine featured Hot Potato Hack.
